Connect your Coho account to Salseforce to receive product usage notifications and take immediate action on hot leads.



Update Salesforce Account, User, or Lead

By integrating Coho with Salesforce, you can update information for Account, Contact, or Lead.

Examples of use cases

You can utilize the Salesforce integration to get notifications on any important event or action done by your users

  • Hot leads that need immediate attention when they become qualified

  • A user who is ready to purchase or upgrade their plan

  • Users who have completed their onboarding process

  • Users who are using your product for the first time

  • Churn risk prediction based on changes in product usage

How to connect your Coho account to Salesforce

  1. On your Coho dashboard - Click on the "Integrations" tab

  2. Add the Salesforce integration by clicking "Add"

  3. A Salesforce window will open, where you need to fill in your username and password:

4. Click "Allow"

And that's it! You're done.

Configuring real-time notifications on product usage and milestones

Defining the trigger

Once you've configured the integration, you can update information for Account, Contact, or Lead. Here's how -

  1. On your Coho dashboard, go to the "Automations" tab

  2. Click on "Add new automation"

  3. Select the trigger that will cause the notification to be sent

  4. Click on "Trigger"

  5. Give your automation a name

  6. Choose the trigger for the notification. For example - you can use a predefined usage pattern (such as - Qualified lead - a lead that has completed using all the required features)

Defining the automation

  1. Once the trigger is defined, click on "Action"

4. In the Action settings, choose "Salesforce" and "Update Account, Contact or Lead"

5. Choose the field that you want to update.

6. Write the field value, add any parameters you need by writing {{

7. Choose the notification frequency.

8. You can now either test your notification or save it as a new automation.
